The Lunula Laser Receives FDA Clearance
I am delighted to announce that the Lunula has
been FDA cleared for use in the US on Dermatophytes Trichophyton Rubrum and T. Mentagrophytes, and/or yeasts Candida Albicans. In the commercial clinic environment, feedback also points to
consistently impressive results on Psoriatic nails, Tinea Pedis and generic psoriasis on the foot. As this technology was a new concept for treating a condition like Onychomycosis, the FDA was
extra vigilant with their screening process and we had to bow to their every demand. The clearance makes all the hard work worthwhile, and provides us with even more reassurance as to the
efficacy of the technology.
